Some of the pictures are flat out gorgeous (the one opposite the Carriage
lyrics is probably the best picture of Adam, ever).
It is also quite epic, 24 pages in all, but I still think it could have been
done better. The little pictures sprinkled here and there are a bit tacky
(imo) but all that is saved by a great picture of the boys riding some
antique bikes. How cool is that?
The theme of classic/antique/New Orleans culture works brilliantly and again
is a perfect partnership between the music (which at times is very jazzed
up) and the artwork.
The band have again kept the standards high.
As for the album (which of course is all that should matter), well, it's
early days yet, but it certainly is yet ANOTHER new direction for the band.
They just keep on finding new sounds and styles with every passing few
years. It is certainly not what I expected but no doubt I will be falling
asleep to it every damn night for months to come!
