Artist Direct stuff re: Promised Land

I just talked to Artist Direct about 5 minutes ago, and the woman (Aisha...
very nice) told me that the CD comes out 11 Pacific on the 7th. We all knew
that. The thing that I didn't know, though, is the distribution of the discs.
Listen to this:

5000 total CDs
2500 available for sale alone
2500 available for purchase ONLY WITH THE SHIRT
1250 Large shirts
1250 X-Large shirts

Grr... I'm not a big fan of this. What if I don't want the shirt??? What if I
just want the music? Then I'm forced to buy a shirt if the CDs alone are sold
out. I suppose, though, that Artist Direct could only make the shirts if they
were guaranteed to sell... and this is a sure way to get them to sell.

I don't want a shirt promoting a limited edition CD; now, if it was a choice of
shirts from the TDL tour, then they'd have a deal...

Even though I wasn't at the show they taped the concert at, it sounds fair to
me that everyone who was there should have the chance to mail in their ticket
stub for either a free or lower priced copy of the album, or at least the
guaranteed option to buy it.
