UK tour cancelled

Just had this email from ticketing agency - shouldn't official site have
been the first to tell us?

COUNTING CROWS - Dec tour post-poned until May 2009

Counting Crows have been forced to postpone their forthcoming UK Tour
due to unexpected personal and work commitments in the USA. Tour Dates
have been re-scheduled and all tickets are valid for the new dates. A
new Brixton Academy date has been added to the tour schedule.

Don't know what Ben Folds will be doing - hopefully some more dates!

Thats strange. I just bought two tickets today for Newcastle and they did
not say anything.

I was due to go to the Sheffield show at the Arena but it's also been moved
to the Academy.

And the Birmingham NEC show will now be at the NIA, which is compartively a
pig to get to!

Same with Newcastle moved from the Arena to the Academy. I think I will swap
