I bought some years ago the Elite Clarinet from Buffet. Now, the pads
are rotting and I don`t know anyone here who sells pads for the Elite
which are different. Does Buffet still sell those? Does anyone know
where can I import it? Any help?
Thanks

Try Ferree's Tools. It's a mail order catalog company for band instrument
repair supplies, with a small web site at www.ferreestools.com (the company has
changed its web address -- this is the new one). I don't know what types of
pads the Elite requires, but Ferree's sells a variety of clarinet pads. They
also apparently keep some things in stock that aren't in the catalog, so if you
don't find what you need, ask. Ferree's has been in business since the late
1940s and has a fine reputation. I've dealt with them several times, most
recently last month, and have had only good experiences there.

Sounds good, but there`s no E-mail available. Do you know if there is one?

I don't think it's possible to reach Ferree's Tools by e-mail or to place
orders directly from the web site, which is only an ad to provide the phone,
FAX and street address to request the catalog.
