The Choir's "Speckled Bird" CD had some real Pearl Jam moments, IMHO...
other than that, I don't know.
I'm not terribly familiar with PJ, but what I've heard of their music puts me
in mind of some of Bride's music (Kinetic Faith, Scarecrow Messiah, possibly
other albums(I don't have Snakes in the Playground, but have heard it's
excellent)). I know that on Scarecrow Messiah, Bride got into that one word
song title thing that I've seen on Pearl Jam albums that came out around the
same time. Give 'em a try. They rock!

What once was now shall always never be.
If you're referring to similar vocals, I've always thought Third Day's Mac
Powell sounds a little like Eddie Vedder, sometimes. As for musical
similarities, I draw a blank.

Don't know if you could get a hold of it if you're in the U.S (as most
of you probably are), but there's an Aussie band called 'Temple Gate'
and their first album, called Shekinah has some stuff on it which sounds
a lot like Pearl Jam.
BTW, since recording their first album, 'Shekinah', the band has split
up, which I think is a real shame, 'cos there ain't too many christian
bands that sound like Pearl Jam!
