I'm looking for a book " Chicago - Biography " or some similar
literature.
If someone knows an internet link, books shop or exact tittle of a book,
please let me know
Thanks in advance

Wolfgag,
There is an unauthorized biography of the band by a "Ben Josef", (which I
have heard is a nom de plume in order to avoid chastising from the band
itself), entitled "Feelin' Stronger Every Day". It's available from a
number of online book retailers...I got mine from amazon.com. It has been
made known that the 4 originals left in today's edition of Chicago are not
supportive or receptive of this work.
Hope that helps you

Shane, any idea why not? I read the book, and thought it was fairly
inoffensive. I did enjoy it, BTW.

Three separate issues, as far as I can tell:
1. It is not authorized. The accuracy (or inaccuracy) of the story doesn't
count, I think they want to tell it on their terms in their time. (The
firing of Danny Seraphine probably is the biggest sticking point here.)
2. Only Bill Champlin was interviewed.
3. One comment that I've heard over and over again, (and one that I agree
with to a certain degree), is that a majority of the work is lifted directly
from the pages of the book that accompanied the "Group Portrait" boxed set.
The wording is changed here and there, but many of the thoughts throughout
the narrative are eerily familiar.
Don't get me wrong, I have it--enjoy it--refer to it on occasion. Heck, it
may even be more accurate than any "official" publication the originals may
or may not ever want to publish. But such are the consequences of
publishing unauthorized biographies.
