Making Troika 2008 Better - Pin Projeckt

Hey everyone.

For those who were a bit disappointed with Troika 2007, remember to
help turn things around for this year! Come out to Broad St Cafe this
Friday and enjoy art, music, and supporting this local nonprofit
festival. Tell your friends! I think it's $5.

Here are the details:

The fourth Pin Projekt will be on 16 May at the Broad Street Cafe in
Durham, NC.

Music by Nathan Oliver, Sweater Weather, Dylan Gilbert, and the Pox
Family Singers.

For those who don't know, Pin Projekt is an always fun and fantastic
fundraiser for the Troika Music Festival. Visual and musical artists
apply their artistry to old bowling pins to give them beautiful new
lives. We then auction off the bowling pins to happy and generous
supporters of Troika and the music and art scene. It's a critical part
of Troika.

Hey, anyone involved in the Pin Projekt this year that has any more details
on actual start time of auction vs. bands, how it's working this year, etc.?
Will the pins be on display anywhere earlier like they were in 2006?

7:00 pm is when the event starts. The auction will take place first, and
when that's done, the music will begin. Hope to see you there! And once
again, I'm gonna kick some ass when I pick the pin I like best. Be
forewarned. I play Full Contact Auction. You can't bid if my dirty sock is
in your mouth.

I guess I should clarify. The doors are at 7. The auction starts at 8.
But you'll want to be there early because I plan to urinate on the pin that
I want.
