Hey guys,
Just wondering what you guys think will become of her back-up singers and her
band? Will they take a break along with her, or will they branch off and "do
their own thing" musically? Will they give interviews about the times they have
spent with Celine? Any thoughts?

Here in Quebec, we often hear interview about Céline (probaly more than
anywhere else in the world)

I recenlty heard that's not only Celine that needs a break, many of her
musicians want stop a little bit.

Maybe her back up singer will start an individual carreer or maybe become
the back up singer of another famous singer.

Mego, Claude Lemay, will surely performe in Quebec show, before the Celine
Falling Into You world tour, he was in almost every show here in Quebec. So,
he will probaly restart this.

Anf for all her technicians, they probaly search another job with another
artist or simply take a little break too.

I think I read somewhere that Elise Duguay said she does not want to go
solo, because it's the harmonizing of backup singers' voices that she
is interested in and has no interest in being a solo act. As for the
band as a whole, I'd imagine they have to make money some how...But I
really hope they all come back when Celine starts up again, because
even though you were going to concerts to see Celine, her and the band
together were like an act, just the way they all got along so well
together and gelled. It's rare that a "solo act" has the same band for
so many years, but I guess in Celine's case it is just "the best with
the best." Besides, they're playing for Celine...I'm sure many people
would do that for free :)

I think that Celine's background singers & band members will come back after
Celine's hiatus. I believe that most can live for two years without working,
especially the background singers. Have you seen their houses?! They're big, so
I'm sure they can also take a break alongside Celine without working.

I am 'All the Way' for Celine,
and I am the Celine Fanatic!

I don't know about Julie LeBlanc, but Élise Duguay lives in a small townhouse
in Montreal. (almost what we call a rowhome here in the US)

Not only has Élise mentioned that she doesn't want to branch into a solo
career, but she's also mentioned that she might try to start a family during
Céline's break too. :-)

Élise plays the flute during My Heart Will Go On.

Not many if they were professionals and talented...
I'm sure the band with their resume will have no problem finding jobs..or
they'll take the backup approach sell stories of celine lipsynching to the
tabloids.

Maybe, but you have to make a living somehow.
