Did Springsteen really say this line in one of his songs? If so, anybody
know which one? I've seen the line everywhere, attributed to Bruce, but
can't find a source.

I think that it was said at the start of the Born To Run video

Bruce said this inbetween Follow that Dream and Born to Run during Born in
the USA tour in 1984/85. He would then say, "this is your town so fight for
it" and launch into Born to Run.

as long as I know (undestatement, I know) that is not a line of his song. It's something he sometimes said introducing Born to Run during concerts.
