service is piss poor. They use bait and wait selling practices; they offer
and take months to fill orders - if they ever get around to it! Their
customer service is abysmal. They learned customer relations from Stalinist
instructors in some Gulag in Siberia. I can believe that Tunnel Records is
run by the R.I.A.A. with a nod from the U.S. Customs Dept. in an effort to
discourage boot collectors from continuing their hobby!
If you doubt my accusations, do a Deja Search on Tunnel Records and see what
other dissatisfied customers have to say, There are even web sites dedicated
to former customers wrath agains't them! If you must do business with these
"people", remember:
1. A fool and his money are soon parted
2. There's a sucker born every minute (P.T. Barnum)
3. You WILL hate them as much as we who have had the misfortune of not
following the
advise of other past, dissatisfied customers who tried to warn us!
4. You are probably blonde
5. Please write me, I have a bridge to sell you

your posting was a little too subtle imo
the worst thing about TR, is that the unexpectant boot buyer who stumbles
into the TR web, will marvel at the enormous range of titles which are
available (just as I did) especially those long thought to be "out of print"
titles. Then 2 days later they will send off a couple of hundred dollars to
TR and spend the next 6 - 12 months watching their letter box in vain.
I received about half of what I ordered and then my order was terminated
without any obvious reason (other than I posted an opinion to this NG...and
btw I found out about my order being terminated via this NG... TR did not
even have the decency to tell me directly)
In the end , however, the joke was on them (well sort of) when eventually
they refunded the remaining $$$$, it had been so long since I placed the
order that the exchange rate between my countries currency and the US $$$
had shifted so much that the refund was about 80% of the $$$ (rather than
the 50%)
In short, go with the boot suppliers who give good service
