Why did you ask this in a blur ng? radiohead would seem much more
appropriate. Anyhow, here is what little I know of the subject:
It hasn't been right since childhood. Doctors botched one of a series
of corrective surgeries -- totally screwing it up. I think he has pretty
much given up on it now. Sorry, I don't know what exactly is wrong with it.
Looks to be nerve related tho.

It's been paralyzed since he was born (it was shut completely till he
had some 7 or 8 surgeries on it when he was young)

But you really forget about it after a while...

You knew the answer, so apparently this blur group was the perfect place to ask
it.

It isn't available on all servers, though. AOL for one.

Gosh! I'm not angry at anyone. I'm glad I could help!!! I was just saying
that you could probably get a more accurate answer from the rhng.
<<assuming you can get that ng>> IT"S NO BIGGIE!

Thom Yorke has a lazy eye. See Jan. 1998 Spin, for "Radiohead" (the
article) Band of the Year article.... I always wondered about poor thom
and his eye. WHen I was younger it scared me a bit.

I think it is meaningless to talk about his eye because what we are
concern about is only his great music!

Actually, he has been had his eye illness when he was young and he was
boycott by people aroung him. Therefore, no one knows his feeling and
that is why he express his own tragic feeling through songs!

I mean that he is partially blind. I.E. he can not see very well but
well enough to cope. This means he has to concentrate (or stare) to be
able to see OK.

I know this is sort of an old subject...but I'm bringing it back from the
dead.

I read that the muscles in his eyelid were paralyzed when he was a kid so
he had to go through 7 surgeries or something to fix it. Its more than a
lazy eye.

I remember people talking about it before, I don't if it was on this ng
or the Radiohead one, but the funny thing is I just got to thinking
about that yesterday, because I was watching some interviews and videos
that I have taped of them. I think that the way he has one eye closed
and one open makes him look kind of sexy (I know that people are going
to jump on my back about that comment, but it's my opinion, so just
leave me alone). Oh ya, and I just started thinking this recently, but
I have been a huge fan of theirs for years.

teases me about it. But I cant help myself. Dont worry, you are not alone
on this one.
