Roger played with the Blues Traveler in their early days. (obnoxious
flute player - big nose, mustache - kinda looks like Zappa, only, an
idiot - find him on the BT homepage under FAQ bad experiences).
Recently he moved down here to Charlottesville, Va. and started leaching
onto every band in town (it's like you can't escape the monster). I was
stupid enough to perform with him some. This man is the veritable
bullshit in the china shop, friends! I have no idea how the Blues
Traveler stood him, and every idea why they speak so lowly of him on
their page. "It's all about Vibes, man" -Roger Fox.

Dude! You so right!~
I was hanging in NYC during those eary day's of BT and the Spin
Doctors, ect..and so-on. And your right! He's was such a leach.
Although I do have a tape or two of BT at Wetlands and he does fill up
some gaps really nicely but he tried to show up all the time and tried
to get on stage with every band he could.
I remember we would be heading down to Wetlands and some friends were
saying....God! I hope Roger Fox dosen't show up.
He could throw a good frisbee in Cetral Park though.

Attacked how exactly? Like Roger came out you with his flute? Having known Roger quite well back in the day, and the time you're referring to, I find that very HARD to believe. Now someone so caught up in playing that they don't pay attention to anyone else's bullshit, I do believe that is very believable especially from Roger!

Chris F former resident of the Clinton Armpit and member of the Vibe Tribe that was mentioned on Blues Traveler's thank you notes on their first album!
(I also worked with them as a photographer some, and shot and filmed some of their first performances such as at the CBGB's Pizza Parlor.)
