I have been wondering about these Tall (and Band) sessions and Sweet
Pickle Salad for while. Is it good? Does anybody know how to obtain
them? Is there a link on the net to the details of these "releases" ?

Hey Dave, I haven't had a chance to really listen to the recent Tall
Sessions disc I got and the Taller 2cd thing you sent me, but a cursory
listen leads me to believe they are different. The Taller discs you sent me
are all live recordings.
These "Tall Sessions" are a recent discovery(I guess the taper just decided
to unleash them) and are 11-13 in studio recordings. Indeterminate track
listing as there is apparently more than one version circulating. The
version I got has 11 tracks, but the set list I see at on the crowes.org
message boards has 13 tracks. I'd like to get the full 13 track version, if
anyone has it.
Oh, one other thing, Dave. I think some of the tracks that are on the
Taller discs you sent me are on "The Band" sessions, that have recently been
circulating. That early version of "If It Ever Stops Raining" is one track
I noticed on both, and it sounded like the same recording.
If anyone has any more info, please add.

Yeah Dave got that Tall As Can Be thing from me, its all live recordings, its
different than the Tall session which were just leaked. I believe the Tall
sessions were the stuff the band did with Chris as producer but later scrapped
and started all over and came up with Amorica..

Apparently there are about 25 tracks but certain jerkoff hoarders don't want to
trade them but someone leaked about half of the tunes.

TACB is just a bunch of, at the time, unreleased tunes done live, TACB is a
couple of years old. The Band sessions were all done in a studio in Nashville,
the one on TACB is live.

My bootleg list,

Yeah....I know. The 2cdr set is called Tall As Can Be....non album tracks
done live. I sent you a copy of that (I got it offa Erik).

I have a cdr titled *Sweet Pickle Salad / Tall* (landed it offa Mike who
posts here once in awhile....not Mike Westbrooke but another Mike). There
wuz an earlier response to this thread describing the Sweet Pickle Salad as
a side project with Chris and Marc (I think) and involved the guitarist from
Kravitz's band (Craig Ross). I wuz wondering if this cdr is the same as
what you have (having nothing to do with Tall As Can Be).

Probably is the same track. I recently received The Band Sessions (thx to
another Mike) and noticed some similarities also. Very cool disc btw.

P.s. - there is a chick in my office who has a burner on her cpu in her
office....and she has agreed to burn some discs for me (I dubbed some vhs
for her recently). I plan to bring in some DC for her to burn next week
(Irvine Meadows 1986, Sydney 1977, VH1 & Then Some). I'll drop you a line
when it's completed. Also....as for the Phoenix SUL show....I have two
different boots of that show (American Meltdown & Sun Devils)...but I'm not
sure how they were sourced. At some point I will burn both shows for you
(both have artwork too). I'll be in touch.
