I am Frank Dieckmann from Germany.
Listening to the last song on "Post", My Headphones, I thaught she used some
words of her iceland language at the end.
Is that true and does anyone know the translation ?
Frank
Good luck,
Cailean

as for translations... there may not be any because the words are just
interjections in icelandic that have no translations -like translating 'wow'
into icelandic.
here is an interview excerpt about the song:
In a hotel room Tricky plays Björk a drum pattern and melody. It is only
three or four notes, but already strong in atmosphere. Simple but strong.
Vague but definite. Björk has had some lyrics waiting for just such a moment
for the last four years.
"I wrote them in Iceland when me and Graham kept sending each other tapes -
he would just save my life! I would wait 'til the evening, put my headphones
on and just listen to the songs. And it would be so nurturing to fall asleep
to the music... 'Headphones' is a lot about that. I always had this lyric at
the back of my head and would put it to subconscious music, all the noises
you hear when you are asleep. It's just so nutritious. There's no defences,
or analysing, or logic. So I said that to Tricky and he said 'Fine by me'.".
