Several years ago, before I was a Bjork fan, I saw a documentary on TV about
Bjork. It showed her in the studio and running across what looked liked
glaciers in the Icelandic landscape. That is all I can recall about it. Does
anyone know what I am talking about and is it available to purchase anywhere?

It must have been the of episode of the South Bank show, a British
documentary presented by Melvin Bragg, that showed Björk working on
Homogenic and made it clear that Homogenic really is her Icelandic album.
I've no idea if you can buy it anywhere though.

Yeah I remember that, still have it on tape, great stuff!
sadly you can't buy it, it would make a cool collectors
item.

I saw the same thing on ABC TV, (Australia), although it was actually a BBC
broadcast. I have it on video as I taped it, also it was on SBS, which is
Foreign TV, and another video I have has some parts from the same doco, but
I do not think you can actually purchase the one you are talking about.

Yes, thats the one that I've seen...has her walking along the beach with her
little recording device thingy, recording sounds and mixing them while she
walks....I also have it on tape, and as I say, there is another doco which
actually has the same scenes, but also features a lot of other stuff about
her previous work aswell, not just making of Homogenic.

Somebody should Mpeg encode it and post it to gideons or some other ftp.

Don't think Gideon would like 500Mb of documentary movie on his FTP
though...

...if this was recorded in Spain, then I definitely have seen
it, too. But... I didn't record it, sniff.
I'd appreciate some mpeg file to dl...

This was the BJORK Bravo Profile - I think aired originally in 1997 - The BEST Bjork documentary available. I used to have it on VHS but loaned it out and never got it back. I have been looking for it far and wide... found it on Youtube in 4 parts recently...

For those of you with it on VHS - I would pay for a copy of it, shipping, your time etc... love from one Bjork fan to another.
