Do any of you wonderful people that have put together your own websites
have any lists of albums, tracks etc. of collaborations, duets, appeared
with or whatever that Björk has ever made with anyone. I would be
interested to see just how many people she has worked with. The only ones
I'm aware of are Tricky & Steve Coogan (how about that for diversity!) but
I'm sure there must be others.

Comments please.......

(way before!) 'debut' - check out the record collector article covering
just that on:
www.fiskaren.no/zwentzen
(enter at 'bjork' and go to bottom of page...!)

I've worked out a fantasy-collaboration of Björk and Nine Inch Nails.....
look it up at:

(To avoid nasty hate-mails of people who didn't understand me: it is not in any
way supposed to be made by Björk herself. I MADE IT UP ! It's not a rumour, not a
real collaboration, but pure fiction !)

Don'T forget Tony Ferrino, Short term affair is the title of the song on
which she sings with the crooner. Who is he anyway? Gabriel

Tony Ferrino IS REALLY Steve Coogan (who is already listed). Basically
Steve Coogan is a British Comedian that creates fictional characters in
order to make a comedy series. His last 'creation' was a guy called Tony
Ferrino that was basically a piss take of a Spanish/Portuguese smoothie
that tends to lure some of our less choosy female holiday-makers (I think I
have been subtle enough with that). Not intention to offend anyone with
that by the way.

Does that explain ?

Here are some that come to mind:

Bjork wrote "Bedtime Story" with Nellee Hooper, for Madonna to sing
She sang "Satisfaction" with PJ Harvey at the Brit Awards a couple of years ago
She performed two tracks on the 808 State CD, "ex:el" ("Oops" and "Q-mart")
I understand she has a track on a CD by a group called "Plaid"
She did "My Spine" with orchestral percussionist Evelyn Glennie
All of her records have been made with numerous collaborators
She did "Play Dead" with David Arnold and Yngwe Malmstein (forgive any
misspelling)

I don't count her overabundant remixes as collaborations, because she has
no real input in them. I would make an exception for the Skunk Anansie version
of "Army of Me", because she redid the vocal after they redid the instruments.

I have heard rumors that she may do a duet with Kate Bush, who is alleged to
be a friend and mentor. That would be too cool.

Some of her frequent partners are:
Nellee Hooper
Graham Massey (808 State)
Eumir Deodato
Howie B. (boyfriend as of late October '97)
Goldie (ex boyfirend)
Trickie (ditto)
Mark Bell

People I'd love to see her work with:
The Orb
Kate Bush
Children of the Bong
TIme Shards
BT (ref: "Blue Sky" with Tori Amos)
