In case you missed it last week....

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) -- Alex Kramer, a Canadian-born songwriter whose
best-known works include ``Candy,'' ``It All Comes Back to Me Now''
and ``Far Away Places,'' died Tuesday. He was 94.

Most of his 125 songs were written with his wife, Joan Whitney. Their
first collaboration, ``High on a Windy Hill,'' was a No. 1 hit for
band leader Jimmy Dorsey in 1941.

Born in Montreal, Kramer entered show business at age 17 when he
worked as pianist in silent-movie theater. He later moved to New York
and became a band leader and voice coach.
