Since we figure it usually takes people a few weeks to clear their
calendars to get a weekend away, please be aware that time time may be
getting short for you to arrange to attend MBC this year.
We have some news regarding our schedule. Some students from past
years have commented that they wished that some of our class
descriptions contained more detail. We have tried to meet this demand,
and are now offering additional information on those classes where we
felt it would do the most good. These additional details are accessed
by clicking on the "more info" link that appears under the various
class titles of the on-line schedule, which appears at
http://www.midwestbanjocamp.com/mbcschedule.html.
One other announcement. We've had some demand over the years for a
class in the banjo style of early Grand Ole Opry star Uncle Dave
Macon. Mike Seeger will now offer an "Uncle Dave" class Friday at 2:30
instead of the Clyde Traxell "French Waltz" Class. That change will
show up on the on-line schedule soon.
