I've been looking at the lyrics to Jack-Ass and some of the more cryptic
lines have me stumped:

"To where the puzzles and Pagans lay" - what do you think that means;
some kind of mystical, undecodable region?

"When the gravity shackles were wild" - is that a reference to the time
when those contraptions that allowed you to hang upside down with your
ankles snapped in to metal clamps (Michael Keaton hung from one in
Batman) were relatively common?

I obviously haven't the slightest idea - any thoughts would be greatly
appreciated.

I think he is talking about a place of confusion. Is a place of the things
that doesnt seem to fit together and all the people that doesnt understand
it and just lay wondering.

I think he is talking about those magical moments when we just feel
alive. Its just that kind of energy
that make us do wonderful things in certain moments

just wondeful. What I wrote is just what they mean in this moment for
me.Tomorrow they could be something else.

Ok, i doubt anyone else thinks this, but I think of all the brainwashed
marylin manson kids in my school when he says this. They think they are
going in the right direction and following this freak makes them special
but they should "put it together" and realize that they are just mislead
by this "Strange invatation". Of course this doesn't jave to mean just
the Mansonites, but they are the example that always comes to my mine.

I think of this as a time when everything got screwed up. And he
"remembers the way that you smiled" throughout the whole crazy time.

That's the thing about people. They have different opinions.
