does any1 know wut adrock uses to change his voice when he sings
somethings got to give?????
i have the live show from mtv on tape and there is a hose attached to
his mic. but i dont know wut is coming out of it.i think it is something
to vibrate his vocal cords.does any1 know?

dunno what ya mean, 'cuz I never saw it, but it could b helium to give his
voice a high pitch

A Talk box, a type of guitar effect. Pick up a copy of Frampton Comes Alive
sometime to get a better feel for the sound. Frampton uses it several times on
that record.

It (the talkbox) was made famous by the Late Roger Troutman, although I
wouldn't give him total credit. The beasties also use an oldschool echoplex
to get the "underwater" effects.
