EIGHT FIFTY SEVEN is involved with some of the coolest companies, bands
& labels out there including Sony Playstation, Interscope Records,
Onitsuka Tiger shoes by Asics, Monster Energy Drink, Kill Rock Stars,
Flameshovel Records, Sony, Columbia, Warner Bros. Records, Ghostly
International, ModWheelMood, The Paper Chase, The Cassettes, and Wires
on Fire.
We work on a number of events and weekly clubs in LA and Chicago and
also are involved with the country's best music festivals including
Sundance Film Festival, South by Southwest, Pitchfork Music Festival,
Lollapalooza, Winter Music Conference, CMJ Music Marathon, Be The Riott
Festival, Street Scene, Noisepop, and Tribeca Film Festival.
Some examples: We just completed a marketing program for Oasis' "Stop
The Clocks" greatest hits, publicity for Starlite Desperation's
national tour and ModWheelMood (Alessandro from Nine Inch Nails) latest
album release.
We were involved with a party every day during CMJ's Music Marathon in
New York in late October/early November, and did both the publicity and
strategic marketing for the Be The Riottt! Festival the next weekend in
San Francisco.
Not just limited to music related projects: We also worked on Fox's
remake of The Omen, which was released this last summer! And within art
- we will be working with Los Angeles' new Circus Gallery's upcoming
openings!

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and business-savvy interns who like
to go out and network, see bands and have a good grasp on what is
happening in their area.
Requirements for this internship are:
-Own or have access to a car
-Own or have access to a computer
-Have good phone skills and are comfortable with talking on the phone
to new people
-Not shy when it comes to street marketing and promotions (like handing
out flyers, getting posters hung up in stores, etc.)
There are many perks in the way of promotional product from our clients
such as CDs, apparel, tickets to shows, etc. All in all this is a GREAT
learning experience for anyone looking to get involved with events,
