Hmmm...I *seriuously* doubt that *what's her name* would ever do a
thing like pose nude..Someone is either playing a sick joke or they probabley
super impose someone's elses body on the head of* what's her name*..If you know
anything about the band...you know that this would never happen....And just to
add some insight...There are two *what's her name* in the band....If by some
chance there is a thing of a nude lush picture...it could be *what's her name*
when she was 1 year old...or what not...

No, I seem to remember a nude or semi-nude picture of Miki in NME or Melody
Maker some years ago. After all, if Polly Harvey can do it...

Well, Emma probably wouldn't, but Miki is apparently quite the hard-drinking
thrill crazed party animal. (Why do you think they named the band Lush? :-)

Actually, I believe the whole band posed nude for either NME or Melody Maker.
Apparently whichever paper it was thought that they were so "pretty" that
a nude photo would be an interesting idea (or something like that?)...

well miki isnt an original member if the band, she is a replacemtn

Well, it did. This must have been about 1990 or 1991, whenever they were
first starting to attract big attention. The whole band was body painted
in various hues of blue, red, etc. The photos were midriff-upwards and
the female members of the band covered their modesty somehow - crossing
their arms maybe? It was all very sexy.
This was in the NME and it caused quite a stir at the time. No, I'm
not taking the piss this time. :> No idea where you might find these
converted into GIFs though.

Hmm, if you were posting from the UK I'd suspect this to be subtle sarcasm,
but I think you meant it seriously. Miki and Emma are longtime friends and
have been playing guitar and writing songs together for much longer than Lush
has been around. The band _does_ have a new bass player since they started
out, which might be what you're thinking of.

The post I saw a few months ago was anwered by a bored-acting
British guy who called the GIF "old news", said it was a promotional
gimmick and that the whole band posed, and gave the site where it could
be had. The what'sername I reffered to is Miki Berenyi, as several
respondents I had knew. So if ANYone knows about this photo, please
let me know or repost the info.

I know that Meriel Barham was originally the singer, but I thought that Miki
was still there playing guitar. Maybe you could walk across the hall or
something and ask Brant Nelson? He'd know for sure. Thanks.

Hmm, I've got one with Miki (that _is_ her name isn't it. I just don't
remember) but I think it's a fake. What it is - Miki's standing fully
dressed beside a japanese girl without top. That's about it.

Both Miki and Emma posed topless for some promotional poster or something
of that sort. I've never heard anything about them posing completely nude,
however.

Miki was one of the original members. She was a guitarist, songwriter and did
backing vocals. They originally had Meriel Barham as the lead singer. Meriel
quit in October 1988. Lush auditioned 30 people but they didn't like any of
them. The band then decided that Miki would take over lead vocals.

Sorry, you are wrong. Melody Maker did a couple shots of Mikki and Emma
topless with paint all over them. so there.
