120 MINUTES:GREG DULLI & DONAL LOGUE

Apart from the premier of the new Weezer video(which shows Spike Jonze's
complete brilliance as a director and not to mention a kick ass song) were
last night's guest hosts, Afghan Whigs Greg Dulli and the "cab guy" Donal
Logue not the highlight of the show? I almost pissed my pants when they did
the scene from Scarface and fell on the floor laughing when Greg described
Donal's new series on Fox as "Grunge Saint Elsewhere."

Is it just me or should those guys be the hosts from now on?

Actually that wouldn't be too bad. I also liked the way they kept saying "the"
before everything: I.E.: The Raidohead, the Weezer, The Dinosuar Jr. etc.
I thought the archers of loaf vid wasn't half bad either.

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to agree with you. I was laughing my
ass off, while attempting NOT to wake everyone in the house up!

I've always liked Greg Dulli, so I wasn't exactly surprised, but Donal
Logue's 'cab driver' sort of gets on my nerves after aout 100 different
commercials and all, but despite that he was funny.

Does anyone remember seeing him in the Julie Brown 'satire' of Madonna's
Truth or Dare? It was hilarious.

hey...
can we petition this or something? flood mtv's mailbox w/"WE WANT GREG
AND DONAL!!!" letters? god, they squash idalis and jon sencio's
scrawny little asses...why doesn't mtv wake up and get vj's who aren't
lamely sarcastic/dramatic? or at least not annoying and all
cutesy-wutesy in clothes 3 sizes too small...all they have to do is
introduce videos, for pete's sake...ahhh..but then again, after about
10 weeks of greg/donal, i think it might start to become like the
immature frat-boy show...maybe adam curry wasn't that bad after all...

anyways, a different movie re-enactment and cameo appearances every week...
sounds good to me...

120 min is like the only decent thing mtv has on (which some may say
is really quite sad) and it needs a definite face-lift...

i'm just going to say that that was quite possibly (no definitely) the
best 120minutes i've ever seen- only because of greg dulli and donal logue
(and the weezer video- absolutely brilliant!) they made that usually dull
show enjoyable and worth watching for once- why didn't i set the vcr
timer?! lets start a movement to have them host more often (although
perhaps it would wear thin after awhile...)

The taxi driver and a new Weezer video, and I missed it!!! Curse the
cable-free world of Northwestern U.
