Yep, Alanis Morissette's time has come to pursue an acting career-again. One
would think that after having great musical success after "Jagged Little
Pill", she'd stick to music. Instead, Morissette has decided to use her
acting chops in a new film in which she will play God. Yes, God. Alanis has
said she doesn't like the concept of Hollywood, but I guess she's being
hypocritical by starring in a movie. I have no idea if it's cheap or what.
There was just a little blurb in the Ottawa Sun about it. Good luck Alanis! I
just hope your new album will be great!

Andrea

Oh the name of the film is "Dogma" (I think) and Matt Damon is also in it.

Hate to tell you all this, but its only a RUMOR that alanis will be in the
movie. Kevin Smith's website says that the actor playing god will remain a
secret until the films release. I hope that it is her though!

Ah but I have a legitamite source. A friend of hers told me she was going to
be in a movie. I hope it's just a rumour. It probably is knowing all of the
things circulating around the net about her.

Go to www.rapidfax.com
and there's the whole story under
the title "Alanis to play God".

What a horrible casting decision. God is a man.

Oh, I'm sure it'll be another one of those stellar Hollywood GEMS.
LOL! Yup, that Alanis sure is a Bohemian revolutionary. She's
really taking us to the promised land free from corporate whoredom.
Thank Mr.God for creating such a visionary!

What's next for her? The title role in the film version of "Mr. Ed?"

Depends on who wrote the lyrics and composed the music for her.

Really? In *every* religion? I beg to differ.

Gee, what a funny, refreshing joke! My ulcer popped! What kind of a comment
is that? We don't live in cloak and dagger times pal. Ryan is right in what
he said. Maybe God doesn't exist... maybe God is a woman... who knows?

Since you know God is a man, tell him I want my $5 dollars back from the poker
game last night. He said he would return it.

Way to go Ryan! You're cool!

"I want to walk through life instead of being dragged through it."
-- Alanis Morissette

"To go back to the one who possesses your soul, and I back to the life that I
dread." -- Sarah McLachlan

Actually it wasn't a joke - I was serious. To be as narrow-minded and
discriminatory as that... it's just cruel. And as you said, maybe God
doesn't exist, or maybe God is a woman (I believe God is genderless).

Now THAT is a funny, refreshing joke!

Ryan, I meant that stupid "God is a man" joke, not your comment.
Ryan, I'm also going to e-mail you since you and I live near each other (yes I
was bclark but I got a change of address.)

"I'm the kind of person to write a book instead of reading one, writing a song
instead of listening to one, and having a conversation instead of watching one
on t.v."-- Alanis Nadine Morissette (I think that was the quote.)
