Shortly after its release, Algo Jazz by Nonsoft is now available from
outlets worldwide including Amazon, CD Baby, iTunes, Rhapsody, and
eMusic.
Algo Jazz is the debut album by Nonsoft, who were formerly creating
video games before turning their attention to music. The album
features 18 tracks of varied styles and instrumentation, all of which
were algorithmically-composed and recorded by a computer. Songs range
from the smooth jazz piano of "The Best Days", to the Latin guitar of
"On the Run", and even some experimentation with vibraphone and flute
music ("Phoning it in From Somewhere Blue", and, "Ten Nineteen",
respectively).
