HI,
I don' t remember them, but i do remember Bucks fizz( from UK) ! they were
Abba copycats.
Not to mention Brotherhood of man from Uk as well. I am shivering...
Let's just say they were far from being as good as the original...

I have the 12" of Fantasy Island, Great song. Tight Fit also released
a CD of 60's oldies, its great if you can get your hands on it, I got
it as an import.

Well, if you are willing to trade a mere copy (no need to part with your
record, as if you will!) of the 12" on tape with me, you could pick songs
from my 16,000+ song list by you-name-it, I've-got-it:-) It will soon be
available at the site below at the top of the list.

I have hard both BOM and BF, and I believe that they don't even come close
to the ABBA sound, but Tight Fit comes eerily close! Only Stars on 45
have come closer!

I agree 100 % and think that these comparisons are only drawn because
of Eurovision. The Brotherhood Of man tracks "Angelo" & "Oh Boy"
might veer toward Abba territory, but that's about all.

I have a Tight Fit greatest hits CD (available here for 1.99), and the
only track that sounds anything like Abba to me is "Fantasy Island".
( Fancy seeing you here Harry )
