I don't mean "worst" in the literal sense. I'm saying that these lines
made me sad.

Dad: Muriel's out there and she's made something of herself.
Mum: And she was the most useless one of them all, wasn't she Bill?

Rhonda and her mum at Mariel's wedding --
Mum (to Rhonda): At least you won't be in anyone's way.

Deirdre (to Muriel when she comes home after Mom dies):
"She'd be glad in the end her life amounted to something."

Worst lines? Can't think of any, but I do have a part in which I dislike
in the movie, how about whenever Bill and his family go somewhere and
Diedre Just HAPPENS to conveniently be there each and every time, and Mum
didn't even catch on once about it, that bites!

This one just got on my nerves:

"It's Deidre Chambers, Deidre!"
"Bill! What a coincidence!"

Too bad Betty never had a clue...

I think Mum did catch on the 2nd time Diedre showed up. After
Bill and D go through the motions of saying "What a coincidence"
the camera shows Mum and she kind lets out a little sigh, like
"Not again." I do agree with you that there aren't really any bad
lines in the movie, but I do feel for the characters. As when the
girls (ie. the cocksuckers) are kicking Muriel out of the group
and she starts crying. I feel for her so much. I want to send
Muriel an S.O.S. ABBA RULES!

I agree that there are no bad lines in the whole movie, but I think that
the
worst part is when Muriel shows up at the "cocksucker's" summer holiday
and they throw a drink in her face.
Right before that, Muriel used the Diedra line, "What a
coincidence" in
anticipation that the girls would be happy to see her, but of course they
said something catty like "Stay away from us." It was great when Rhonda
got them back by saying " I would rather swallow razor blades than have a
drink with you,......and besides I'm not alone I'm with Muriel."
I loved the entire movie. I feel like Brice, the guy that went out
with Muriel and was later seen at Mariel's wedding sitting in quiet
adoration. Muriel's Wedding rules! ABBA rules!
