15 years is long enough to wait for a miracle. It's not going to
happen. Terri's doctors, the ones wno have actually tested her and know
her condition best have agreed that there is no hope for her recovery.
Her husband took her to California years ago for some new experimental
treatment for brain damage but they couldn't help her. I don't believe
that she would want to live like this. I wouldn't. Her parents are being
unrealistic and actually selfish. The neurologists say that the part of
her brain the controls, hunger, thirst and pain are damaged so she is
not in pain as some would have us believe.
What should have been a private family matter has turned into an ugly
circus. Let's face it, Terri died 15 years ago. What's left is a shell.
