I'm pretty sure I had a proto-AOL account when I was at
primary school (called Quantum Link or something in Australia)

I had a fairly internet-challenged childhood unfortunately - I didn't get
to use the Internet really until I got to University.

I don't remember a LIMBO. What do you think it was? (That might jog my
memory.)

I remember as an undergraduate being able to type the word "unaxcess" in
an unreasonably short time, which is perhaps a bit sad.

Allegedly, yes, but it's currently broken on UA2, and threads moved into
limbo can only be moed out of there by the witnesses, and not the editors
who will have moved the threads into there.
