i'll give you an example of john norris' rather open lifestyle. he's
interviewing whitney houston and mentions that last time he saw her
was on like some fire island concert that he was at and mtv did not
cover. and if you ever saw his george michael interview...
*shudder*

Not going to happen, Carson is a really religious person. It would ruin
his family life if he was, or if he is and came out. But if he is gay, I
bet he is damn tired of all those little girls screaming "I love you". I
know I would be.

Alex,
who wonders 'could Carson get any gayer?'

When he was covering the Hole/Manson tour I think Eric Erlandson from Hole made
some comment on the "pink leather pants" he was wearing.

now i've heard this carson/jesus freak thing on stern, but i was
wondering where this comes from. did he like give an interview and
mention it or is this just more sort of speculation? i'm legitimately
curious, though i'm not doubting what you're saying...
yeah, anyway,

He did an interview in some magazine..I think it was Alternative Press,
and he talks about his religious life. That's all it pretty much
is....it's kind of funny, because on tv he seems like mTV's little robot
but in the interview he seems like a normal person. But he does keep
saying that he "found god" a lot in the interview, and I've heard the
term being used with giving up the gay lifestyle (which is impossible,
it's not a choice) as "finding god".

I agree that "finding god" is kind of a stupid term, if that is what you
are saying. It is like walking into the bathroom and god is in your
bathtub, and you're like "god, so that is where you are." "glad I found
you!". (haha). but if gay people were gay and then weren't gay anymore,
sounds to me like they weren't born gay then. Right? I'm sure I'm
wrong. I'm always wrong.
It depends, I'm gay myself (but it's something I don't like to base
everything on. It's just a small part of my life, there is more to me
than being gay). I think some are born gay, and some take part in gay
acts and happen to like it (and continue). But there are those who are
pushed into pretending to be straight because of their religion, or
surroundings. I really don't believe these bull shitters who "were" gay
and say they found god. But who am I to stop someone from doing what
they want?
