Anyone have an idea of what causes this?
If this is a new hard drive for the computer, go into the BIOS
and look for a setting to auto-detect the type of hard drive it is.
It may be expecting a different hard drive.
I don't think this kind of thing happens with newer computers,
but if you have an old one you may get it.
Will it boot using another bootable disk? If so, the DOS setup disk
is defective. If not, be sure that your BIOS setup is detecting the
drive.

Well, the setup disk itself may be corrupt. You can check that by
running scandisk on it from another computer.
