I have just uploaded the latest WIP version of Enhanced DR-DOS
7.01.08.
Do you remember that I mentioned that I was working on some secret
features? Well, today I proudly present one of them, support for USB
memory sticks! It is still experimental since I lack the devices to
test it thoroughly and my main test PC's USB support in the BIOS is
seriously broken, so I welcome any kind of feedback. In particular, I
am interested whether large (>8 GB) sticks and those that have been
formatted on another machine work.
There are also some fixes to the FAT+ API and some changes to the
network redirector.
As usual, you can download it from the site listed below. Please
report any problems in the Enhanced DR-DOS forum at
http://www.drdosprojects.de/forum/drp_forum/ .

I would have given it a try and even registered at the forum, but
then I found much too many things are needed to just check on it.
Neither MASM-lib nor C/C+- will ever enter any of my machines.
A zipped bootable ISO image could make the DrDos story more popular :)

I can't use any other DOS anymore. E-DR-DOS is too good.
Your previous 7.01.08 beta would not work with any of my
UFD's, unless I disabled verify in autoexec.bat. (I would get
read errors, I can't remember the exact message).
Autoexec.bat entry:
VERIFY OFF
Thank you very much!

*** So am I to take it that VERIFY now works on your system?
That aside, I am curious: With today's reliable drives, is VERIFY
needed? Or are you doing sensitive work that requires absolute integrity
all the time?
