To single step through the AUTOEXEC, no problem - everyone knows to press
F8 when the screen says Starting MS-DOS... but what about just a regular
batch file?

To single step through a batch file invoked from the command line, do the
following:

command /y /c foobar.bat

I can't believe it took me so long to find this out, so I'm passing it
along. :)

Of course, DOS => 6.2 only (maybe DOS 6.0, but I don't think so).
