Thank you for your enquiry.
Currently, only videos that are rated PG and below can be distributed
in Singapore. Though the Censorship Review Committee (CRC) has made
some recommendations on video classification, their implementation
will take some time. The current video licensing system is expected to
be modified when video classification is introduced.
Your shipment will be intercepted at the custom checkpoint and
directed to our office. You will be notified by either Singapore Post
or the Courier Services to make your claim at our office. If the
contents are objectionable (i.e. banned or passed with cuts cases),
you will be requested to re-export or destroy (by MDA) the videos. It
is advisable for you to visit MDA website to check on the
classification of the titles before you bring them in.
Accessing the Film Classification Database :-
1. Go to www.mda.gov.sg
2. Click on "Medium" hyperlink
3. Click on "Video" hyperlink
4. Click on "Film Classification" hyperlink
5. Key in the title of the video that you want to bring in
6. Click on "Search"
7. Check out the decision status from the database.

Sorry to buke in again as this has comes into odd with the message
below..:-)
What I've heard and saw is that MDA do not allow frontal nudity
meaning whole body without withpout clothing while having sex because
this is considered as explicit. This is one of the better reason why
Human stain is shown without any actions inside(by right sex movies of
this kind R(A) should at least contain one scene as it is R or it is R
produced by a well known company like miramax whom might not wish to
tarnish their name to do lotos of sex movies). The other reason to
support this is that the previous movie shown in theatre some pretty
things(Andrea Tatou) contains sex scene that is only at half of the
body naked. The other thing that is not allowed is moral problem type
of movies that contains lesbianism, homosexuality. MDA mention that
should anyone has one of these forbidden movies, you NEED NOT submit a
form to declare what videos you have for these mentioned movies BUT if
you have the PG, you will have to declare it and send down your videos
for checking. The forms, they stressed, could be found at MDA web site
under the selection option: medium, videos, videos for personal.

Guidelines for Videos Declared for Censorship Exemption
Videos containing any of the following objectionable
scenes/dialogues/themes are not exempted from censorship and should
not be so declared.
1. SCENE
(1) Violence
Violence refers to acts of force resulting in pain, injury or death.
The following portrayals are deemed as violent acts:
• Repeated hitting/punching/kicking;
• Multiple slashing/stabbing/shooting;
• Blood-letting/flowing/spurting;
• Amputation/decapitation/dismemberment;
• Any other forms of torturous and/or sadistic acts.
(2) Sex and Nudity
Sex and nudity relate to depictions of sexual acts and naked human
bodies. Some specific examples are:
• Sex-exploitative or sexually suggestive depictions
• Sexual foreplay;
• Sexually ecstatic facial expressions;
• Sexual intercourse;
• Both male and female frontal nudity.
(3) Drug Abuse
Scenes depicting or promoting drug abuse.
2. DIALOGUE
Words with obscene and vulgar connotations.
3. THEME
The overall theme of the subject of the video should not be
objectionable on moral, social, religious grounds or detrimental to
national interest.
(1) Moral
Examples of morally objectionable themes:
• depiction of deviant sexual behaviour such as incest, homosexuality
and lesbianism;
• promotion of free love and sexual promiscuity etc.
(2) Social
Examples of objectionable themes on social grounds:
• Anti-social behaviour such as vandalism, hooliganism and juvenile
delinquency;
• Portrayal of the commission of crimes with details of the techniques
used;
• Portrayal of undesirable lifestyles such as hippyism.
(3) Religious and Racial
Denigration of any religion or race.
Note:
If in doubt of the video's content, you are advised to submit the
video for censorship.
