Are they ever gonna remake this? Hope not. This movie is like the western
Godfather; I can watch it when it's on anytime and at any part I happen to
catch it on.They dont make em like this anymore. That part at the end where
Angel Eyes, Blonde and tuco are at the gravesight getting ready to draw-damn!
Love it, theyre allowed to take thier time and the
music;fagetabboudit.Poetry.Bt the way, the soundtracks not that bad either.

I think Eli Wallach as Tuco really steals the show but I agree it is the best
western ever made......Tombstone and Silverado were pretty good too....Dave

Yes. McCaulay Caulkin is going to star as the 'good guy.'

Do you know if there is a version of it in Italian? Hey, it was filmed in
Italy, and a lot of the words don't match up with the mouths, you know...

Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. Lee Van Cleef is one of the
baddest looking dudes of all time. Seeing this movie makes you truly
appreciate what Clint Eastwood was aiming for in terms of redemption with his
character in "The Unforgiven."

I doubt there is an Italian version. Except for the leads they used
Italian actors, with, I guess, little or no knowldge of English. Then
they dubbed it in English afterwards. In most older Italian films you
can see are dubbed, usually very poorly, even when they are in Italian.

I think Fellini used to let the actors speak with number-codes which
told them the mood they where supposed to be in, and then created the
exact dialog afterwards.

Not only is it the best western ever made, I think its also the best
movie ever made.

Tuco does steal the show. IMHO his performance is the greatest male
acting performance I have seen.

The soundtrack is also brilliant.

This movie is just very interesting to me. I also think its one of the
better war movies made. I love how Tuco and Blondie weave in and out
of the fabric of that war.

Anyways, the only other movie I have seen that comes close to The good
bad and the ugly is Cool Hand luke.
