No, of course not - FilmFour are bound by ITC rules to show the approved
BBFC video versions if such versions exist. They don't like it any more
than we do, but they also quite fancy keeping their broadcasting
licence!

Such a version exists (sitting under my video recorder at the mo), but
i have no idea as to how badly cut it is never having seen it at the
cinema.
Although i can't see how there would be that much that could be cut.
It definitely is not what i would describe as a violent film.
Disturbing - yes. Violent - no.

The British cinema version (assuming most people would have seen it
after the Scala's brief run of an uncut print in early 1990) was
slightly cut, the video version slightly more so - plus, most
controversially, the video-watching scene was not only cut but re-edited
to alter the whole meaning of the scene.
