i know that the 'Old Rose' mentions her Grandfather, but she also says; "And
I’ve never spoken of him until now, not to anyone.","Not even your
grandfather. A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of secrets."

Actually, Old Rose says "Not even TO your grandfather." Meaning she had
never told her husband about Jack.

no, because in the movie, rose told her that she never even told her
grandfather this story. Which means Jack can't be her grandfather

Well Lizzy looks pretty young, late 30s maybe. Which would mean her father
would have been around 50 when she was born if she is Jack's granddaughter
(since her grandfather's name would be passed through a son). Possible, I
suppose, but not likely. Rose would have to find a new husband within a week
of the Titanic disaster in order for the guy not to expect anything unusual.
Since everything in the movie doesn't support this, I'd say it isn't so.

No. Old Rose tells her that no one knew about Jack, not even her grandfather,
therefore, her grandfather wasn't Jack.

In research of Rose's post Titanic life done to figure out if she was lying,,
the impression is that she did not begin "punching out a couple of kids" until
after she married Lizzy's grandfather. Based on all of the things she was
supposed to have done (ie. actress, flying, traveling, Santa Monica Pier etc..)
It would have been alot longer than nine months before she married.
