i know, i know. it's not like i'm not working on anything. go take a look at
www.dvdverdict.com. i've been basically redoing the site from the ground up.
it's a big task for one guy, even one as uber-talented as myself ;) i
probably have a month or more of intensive work to get it completed, and
then i work hard-core for a weekend to catch up at the TBC.

Not that I'm trying to dwell on the subject, but...
I'm going to assume that most, if not all, of you visited Halloweentown.com
at least once. I'm just curious as to if any of you have heard from the
webmaster at all. Last he told me, he was going to try to find a new main
server for HT (the site was already spread across 5 servers total). Only
problem with that is, I nor anyone I know of has heard from him since August
29. Not through e-mail, not through snail-mail, no one can even reach him
by phone. Anyone know any more than I do?

There's going to be a stop-motion convention in Las Vegas this August! A lot
of the guys who worked behind-the-scenes on Nightmare Before Christmas (even
a few guys from Star Wars & such) will be there. Lots of really great and
famous FX people... I'm definately gonna be there. The hotel it's at (the
Orleans) says they're offering special rates if you book at least 30 days
ahead, and mention you're with the con. I asked some of the animators to
mention the event to Selick, and last I heard they were trying to get Phil
Tippett to come. Should be pretty awesome. =)
