I'm looking for a source (preferably 35 mm) for WHITE DESERT (1925),
and also to know who owns the rights if it's still under copyright. I
googled the title and it appears that it's perhaps Turner. Do they own
prints that may be available for a screening? Thanks.

Eastman House has material on this title, however I don't know about the
availability of a print, nor of it's gauge.

Warner Bros. does have a 35mm print. We ran it at Cinecon a number of
years ago.

Warner Bros Classics (formerly Turner) has a nice 35mm print and owns the
rights. Eastman House also has a 35mm print. It's a pretty good picture. Bob
says it was run at Cinecon, but I think he's mistaking this for when it was run
at Syracuse.
