Barbara Steele & "Black Sunday"

While home with a cold this week, I managed to rent and watch "Black
Sunday" (which I hadn't seen for almost thirty years). While the dubbing
at times was a little annoying, I have to say that the movie is definitely
a vampire-class-act.
This movie supposedly "launched" Barbara Steele but I have to confess that
I'm not familiar with anything else she did.

This was certainly Barbara Steele's most *glamorous* film, but basically
she's in all of Hammer's Lesbian Vampire or Witch films. Also, when
they revived DARK SHADOWS a few years back, someone with a great sense
of humour dug her up for an ongoing role...
