Does anyone know if Jeff Anderson was in line to play Brodie in
Mallrats (or any other character) and was not used due to the studio
making Kevin Smith audition parts? (like Jason Mewes - what a travesty
that would have been had he not got it!)

As Kevin Smith likes to use the same actors, I just wonder if Jeff
Anderson was ever thought of for his subsequent movies.

Thanks,
Nik

Jeff and Kevin went their own ways after Clerks. Jeff is back on board with
Askew for Clerks the Animated Series and a bit part in Dogma. The Wrangler has
starred in the indie film "Love 101" with Mike Muhney (CBS's TURKS), is writing
screenplays, and lending his signature voice to commercials. Last I heard,
he's still married to Lisa Spoonhauer (caitlen bree)

Commercials? Any we'd have seen nationally? As for the tactfually put "went
their own seperate way.." well said.. NO Jeff was never up for audion for
Brodie.. Jeff and Kevin were not on speaking terms until recently.. they had
some fights during Clerks.. and they just split.. Jeff and Kev reconciled,
and Jeff will have a SMALL cameo (VERY VERY SMALL, unless its been
rewritten) part in Dogma.. there's also RUMOR of a Clerks 2.. or something
else to bring Randal back into the movie series..

Jeff and Brian O'Halloran are hard at work on getting the first six
cartoons, voices, in the can and done so they cna put'em on ABC.. that's
about it for Jeff for now.. BUT.. whatever Kev has coming up.. whether it be
Clerks 2, some say Bussing.. others say a project called Name.. I'm sure we
can see Jeff back in there.. maybe not as a featured role, but he'll be in
there somewhere...

And isn't Jeff in that Special K commerical with the guys in bar saying things
like, "I have my mother's theighs. I just have to accept that."?

Is it? I haven't noticed.. guess I'll have to actually PAY ATTENTION next
time and see.. I didn't think so, I thought that guy was older.. but I'll
surely pay closer attention this time.
