Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

Why did the police officer follow Marion Crane in Psycho, I keep wondering
after everytime I see that amazing film......

Plus, did you all realise, in next to every Alfred Hitchcock film, there
is a scene filmed inside a car......? Why's that ?????? Please let
me know ......

She was acting extremely nervous like she had something to hide, which
she did. And you know cops. Once they catch the scent, they never let
go. As for scenes inside cars, perhaps for the mystery and drama which
seems to accompany car rides, like the rainy, foggy night, in Psycho,
the hair-raising mountain drive in North X Northwest and Family Plot.
Very observant point. I never really thought about it
per say, but now that you mention it...

Yes, I own eighteen Alfred Hitchcock films and in nearly everyone of them
we see a car scene, besides the film Rope which is in a new york
appartement.....

and perhaps Rear Window too....

...and Lifeboat, not many cars in that.
Not just car scenes though, there are staircases and women with glasses.

I always liked the Brandy reference that he used in just about every
movie.
