Jesus. Look at this amazing technology.

Look at this stuff. It made me happy and sad at the same time.

Telecommunications by light as the medium in 1942 - phone
communications via light. Isn't that today called "fiber optics" -
well it was developed by Hitler and his free to do as they want
scientists.

Postwar, W. Germany developed similar IR communications by light to
foil the Stasi with across border spy communications. They never
caught on...

So all of that is not used or used secretly today?

And what other books/references that provide the much not provided by
Henry Stevens, can you refer me too.

I know that Landig the German who was SS published books portraying
the world that would have been had Hitler won, with this technology,
but that book isn't available other than in German. I suppose I could
buy it then use the Google translator to read it, but that would be
tedious.

Perhaps someone in Hollywood, like Mel Gibson, would want to cause
trouble and make a movie of Landigs book - or get them published in
English. Oh yeah, there are more than one, I guess 3 if I'm not
mistaken.

But please give more references Robbie, ones that are better than
Henry Stevens.

Communication by light is an age old technique

From smoke signals through the optical telegraphs of the napoleonic
era , the signal lamps of warships its almost as old as warfare
itself. IRC the USN used IR signal lamps during WW2

Greetings:

Just discovered your writings and familiarity with all things of German Technology. I have a need to learn more than I currently know about the V2 missile engine. Is there there a society of German rocket engineers? or something similar? Would appreciate your informed guidance.

Cordially,
