It's not a scary scene mind you however i find it extremely foreboding.
In the beginning of the movie when Heather was interviewing the woman
with the small child, i just found it creepy that at the start of the
interview while the woman was talking about the Blair Witch her child
had 1 finger up over her lips, making the "shhh sign". Then as the scene
went on the child became much more disturbed covering her moms mouth &
eventually screaming, crying, & turning away. Being that the legend is
that Elly Kedward takes away small children i find this scene pretty
disturbing & VERY effective. Was Elly influencing the little girl? Was
the little girl subconsciously sensing something? Ingenious.

Wow..I never even looked at it from that point of view..I just seen it
last night..and I am thinking I am going to see it again on a reg movie
screen..I went to the drive-in, and I think with ppl being noisy and the
screen being a little fuzzy I have missed a few things. Anyways I loved
the movie, not that it was real scary, just that it makes you think, and
the scene that was scary to me was when they were in the tent..and the
laughter and moaning of the"witch",

Honest to god, folks...I saw an interview with Heather recently and that
whole baby reaction *was not planned.* The baby just started acting that
way on its own. Scared the heck out of her. :D

Who was it that said that they "saw something about it on the Discovery
Channel?" Someone said in an interview that that person, along with some
others, was just picked off the street and had no idea that the
"documentary" was fake.

There is 3 drive-ins here and I thought that it would be fun to go and
see the movie in the middle of nowhere, but in the process I feel as
though I might have missed a few things. I absolutley loved this movie.

I like to think that the children of Burkittsville understand things
that the adults don't.
