Body of missing mountain biker found

by Rappler.com
Posted on 04/16/2013 12:48 PM | Updated 04/16/2013 5:51 PM

SUBIC, Zambales The body of a mountain bike racer who went missing on Sunday has been found by search and rescue teams in Sitio Naugsol, Subic town, Zambales.

Arnold “Bunso” Suero, a resident of Zambales, was a participant in the Subic Adventure Race but did not cross the finish line, even at the end of the race. His fellow team mates thought he had returned home.

He was declared missing only after his wife alerted race officials on Sunday evening. According to the race organizers, they immediately launched a search and rescue operation for Suero that lasted until early Monday morning.

The search team interviewed a local Zambales aeta named “Nestor” who, according to some accounts, may have been the last person to see Suero. Nestor, however, denied this.

Suero was found dead Tuesday morning at the bottom of the mountain in Sitio Naugsol in Subic town. According to other bikers, Suero was a veteran.

A racer who requested anonymity said via SMS, “The body was recovered and identified by his cousin. We are waiting at the bottom of the mountain for the first group to retrieve the body.”

Autopsy on Tuesday afternoon revealed that Suero died of coronary heart disease.

Nestor is currently in police custody for questioning over the incident.

Race organizers of Subicleta, who declined to be named, said they will extend assistance to the family of Suero.

Thanks, once again, for confirming that you have ZERO interest in the truth. You really should learn to keep your mouth shut, since you are your own worst enemy. What a glutton for punishment! No matter how many times I expose your dishonesty, you keep coming back for more!

Stop projecting, Michael. As any rational and honest person can read in a previous thread, it's not that I have zero interest in the truth, it's that YOU have zero interest in telling it.

You've asserted this several times now ... but, surprise surprise, not one shred of evidence to back it up. The court found you guilty and you may, or may not, have filed a Petition for Dismissal. But that doesn't make you not guilty ... your record stays in the California and FBI CRIMINAL databases.

And, yes, you DO lie ... frequently. You've been caught out in loads.

Not once. You, on the other hand, lie every time you open your mouth, because you assert things that you don't actually know.

By the way, ask your mommie what "expunged" means. You obviously don't know.

I assert things that are a matter of public record or the operation of the law and can be backed up with a few simple clicks and reading of the penal code. Go and read the penal code regarding Petition for Dismissal and confirm that such 'Expungements' actually do, despite the dictionary definition of the word of which I'm well aware, remain on the California and FBI criminal databases.

And you have been caught out many times lying ... here is the most recent example of which I'm aware ...

You said "As to the beautiful scenery, only hikers & equestrians are able to enjoy it. Mountain bikers are doing nothing but looking at the trail directly in front of them, & have no time to "enjoy scenery""
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.mountain-bike/shnDNWmH32w/kmnAMUpPfR4J

But in another thread you said ... "It sounds logical that they would be satisfied, building their own mountain biking "park". But it's not true, for two reasons: (1) most of them enjoy being in nature. It's a MAJOR component of the sport. Especially, exploring NEW territory."
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/rec.bicycles.soc/nWmSWXCGgg8/OY4WC2elZ0AJ

So, you are a LIAR ! QED.

BS. (1) You took it out of context. (2) You can't read. Here's the real quote. As you can see, I was just reporting what mountain bikers SAY. They SAY they "enjoy nature", but it's obviously not true. People who enjoy nature don't speed through it on a bike, shredding the trails as they go. Try as you might, you won't find any lies, because I was raised to always tell the truth. So were you, but you CHOOSE to lie, in order to shield your destructive sport from the truth.

"I don't agree that there is any worthless land. ALL land was once
valuable habitat. But what you point out has become an oft-used
rationalization for more destruction: "It is already messed up, so
THAT makes it okay to mess it up some more"! That is not logic. It
seems to me that it would make even more sense to say "It is messed
up, so let's RESTORE it to useful habitat", or something else useful.

It sounds logical that they would be satisfied, building their own
mountain biking "park". But it's not true, for two reasons: (1) most
of them enjoy being in nature. It's a MAJOR component of the sport.
Especially, exploring NEW territory. (2) Due to the speed at which
they ride, they don't really experience the land that they travel
through, in more than a superficial way. Consequently, they are soon
bored with any given trail, and are hankering for another one. They
CONSUME nature.

They ALREADY have a legal alternative: ride on existing roads! I don't
see why the public (and NATURE) should be obliged to provide a
continually expanding arena for people to play whatever destructive
game they can think up. Do you?"

I can't read ? So, do tell me, where does the word "SAY" appear in your original ?????? The full quote which you have included does not include that word.

What an idiot (or liar) you are. Committing the same mistake of which you baselessly accuse others.

You lie all the time ... I pointed out just one in THIS THREAD ... and you also intentionally slant facts, omit salient points and bias research. All of which is also lying.

You've been metaphorically laying about you now for 20 years during which time Mountain Biking has grown massively.

You have been convicted of criminal offences.

You've been banned from the very trails from which you attempted to evict mountainbikers.

So, overall, a pretty pathetic and unsuccessful couple of decades. I would suggest that, with your advancing years, you consider going and doing something rather more productive with your next twenty - assuming you have that many left.

I am completely on topic; you ARE a liar and I've shown that in this thread.

You ARE a felon ... you HAVE been convicted of criminal offences.

What have I said that I can't backup ... I note that, when challenged, I provide external backup ... you just say the same thing again and claim that this is 'verification'.

Even by your dismal standards, this is a pretty poor diatribe.

I haven't ? So, the word 'SAY' does, you assert, appear in your diatribe which I quote above ? I don't think so ... so there is a lie, in black and white, on this thread. Way to go genius !

> BS. All charges were dropped.

Oh, interesting. And another lie. So, you DIDN'T go to trial and get convicted on three criminal counts ?

The charges were never 'dropped'. You may, or may not (no proof still after many times of asking), have now filed a petition for dismissal BUT that doesn't mean that the charges were dropped.

ALL charges were dismissed (dropped). They no longer exist. My record was EXPUNGED. Live with it, liar.

By the way, I'm still waiting for you to apologize for calling me a "felon". I have never been a felon, regardless of how you define it. You are a LIAR. Accept it. Just like ALL mountain bikers. The scum of the Earth. The lowest form of life, by far. You are ALL criminals. When you aren't building illegal trails, you are riding illegally. Everybody knows it's true. Live with it. You made your bed, now lie in it.

Getting yourself in a tizzy isn't going to help you. You WERE convicted on three counts and even a petition for dismissal expungement won't remove your record from the Criminal DB. You are, and always will be, a criminal.

You will be waiting a very long time ... I won't be apologising for stating the truth.

However, read ...

http://thesaurus.com/browse/felon

... and choose which synonym you prefer. Doesn't change the reality ... criminal/felon/culprit/lawbreaker.

I suggest you follow your own advice ... you made your bed, now lie in it. If you don't want to be called a criminal then don't break the law !

"What is a Felon?

A felon is someone who has been convicted of a violent or serious crime. They have served time in a prison and not just in a jail. Someone who is convicted of murder would be a felon. "

By your own definition, I'm not a felon, and you are a LIAR. Ergo, you owe me an apology, which I know you aren't MAN enough to give.

Felon is a synonym for criminal.

http://thesaurus.com/browse/felon

Main Entry:
felon  [fel-uhn] Show IPA
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: criminal
Synonyms: con, convict, delinquent, ex-con, jailbird, lawbreaker, lifer, loser*, malefactor, offender, outlaw, yardbird

You are trying to use a very US-specific definition related to the misdemeanour/felony classification. And, even then, you are wrong since Battery can be a felony or misdemeanour depending on severity.

However, to clarify my meaning absolutely, I am using Felon as a synonym for Criminal. And, no, I won't be apologising for stating the truth.

Will you be apologising for breaking the law and wishing ill to so many others ?

This is ridiculous. You were arrested and CONVICTED of three criminal offences. That is a matter of fact. Not opinion. If you don't admit that then you are a liar. A petition for dismissal does not undo those facts and you have, in any case, never provided any evidence to show that you were granted one anyway.

And you are outright lying when you say you don't wish ill to anyone. Your inflammatory posts show no care or concern about anyone else.

This thread here (https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.mountain-bike/LxBYuTy1Lxs/7E7ohifNPPMJ) is a classic example. You were prepared to sink to new depths there.

No one is sweeping the dangers under the carpet. You pointed out yourself that videos are posted of people coming unstuck (https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.mountain-bike/Ks8H1vdhJ6g/kAKKBgUMrgoJ). However, as pointed out in that thread, the dangers are far outweighed by the benefits.

Unlikely and unproven.

Well, maybe, because things like Ischaemic Heart Disease also cause ... wait for it ... DEATHS ! Rather more of them. An order of magnitude more of them.

And, on top of that, I would rather live a full, if slightly shorter life, than spend my life simply behind a computer screen screaming at the world as you do. I enjoy my life ... if it kills me one day then so be it.

Because there is no data to backup such a proposition and, despite being asked to provide it many times, you have failed to do so.

> Getting repeatedly shown to be an ignorant liar is how you enjoy yourself? You ARE in trouble! Whistling in the dark, huh? You are pathetic.

No, teasing you about being a criminal is a hobby that I engage in from time to time when I need a break from reading or drafting a contract.

I think you'll find that majority opinion is that you're the one getting himself trapped lying or misleading ... but, hey, I'm quite happy to trust others' judgement. I don't claim to be right all the time - unlike you :-)

I enjoy mountainbiking, skiing, volleyball, motorcycle racing and many other pursuits, usually with my kids - that's what I do to really enjoy myself. You are a minor amusement, sometimes.
