Giant XtC 860 - MPH-3 discbrakes

hi,
I got (well i think) with my Giant MPH-3 disc brakes. Why does 1 of the 2
brake pads last longer? When i hold them together i can tell for sure that
the disc is not at a 90 degrees angle? I need help, can someone tell me what
to do?

think its because one pad is fixed and the other is forced onto the rotor.
