And of course this makes YOU less ignorant !!!

This is indeed an English newsgroup and, even though my English writing
skills are not at par with most other participants, I do respect this
all the way.

Dan Harrisson is an English speeking individual who was merely trying to
catch the attention of French speeking mountain bikers in Quebec,
regarding a World Cup MTB event in Quebec... There's absolutly nothing
wrong in that.

You may not have a high opinion of french speeking people... this is a
free world and you are entitled to your opinion, but this is not the NG
to express it. There must be a NG for this somewhere.. try "alt.fascist"
or "alt.hate", etc.

Dan.

Who did you just call a faschist?

You don't know anything about me, other than the fact that I would like
people to use a language that the majority of the worlds people can read and
understand.
Even though it was a direct message to french speaking people (who I really
dont have anything against, except the fact that they think that french is
a internatinally useful language)

He could have been saying things about me, or he could have been a
faschist, saing bad things about others (hiding behind his language, like
the nazis did once)

He could have made a translation to English, it wouldn't hurt, would it?
(B.T.W English is not my native language, so please be patient with my
spelling)

Chill out, Nick. Or switch to alt.conspiracy, where paranoia is the
order of the day. Dan (the Quebecer) was absolutely right, I was trying
to catch the eye of a francophone who could help me with my MTB jargon.
BTW, if you read my recent posts, I have nice things to say about
Netherlanders and Belgians. Does that help?
Tempest in a teapot.
