Two of our guys have Jekyll's with Lefty's and love them. I realize this
seems to be a bash Cannondale group but a bunch of us the great Northwe(s)t
have Cannondales and some with Leftys and haven't had any probs other than
normal wear and tear. I've hit a tree head on at 15-18 mph with my Lefty and
have had no probs other than straightening out the rotor.
As far as other C-dale bitches in this group, if your LBS doesn't offer you
stems to fit when you buy the bike or swap you, then get a new LBS. Our
local shop has tons of all angles and lengths of stems and swap no matter
how long you've had the bike. The CODA brakes now have new pads that are
100% better than the original disc pads. You have to get a standoff kit for
the lines since they generate a lot more heat than the old ones and were
softening the brake lines. It's an easy fix, just a few extra minutes when
you're changing pads. I just got my kits and will swap this weekend. So far
I've heard they feel and last as good as Hayes hyrdraulics.

where did you find those standoff kits? i've gotten the run around
from several LBSs. first they can get them, then they can't, first
they can get the new pads, then they can't. i've got 2000 coda
hydraulics and while the stopping power is OK, it could be better.
