I dont have 1000CC shadow . mine is a 750 and it is problem freeexcept
for normal maintenance (tires, chain, battery,oil and filter changes)

I put a 38 tooth sprocket on the rear instead of the standard 41 tooth
sprocket so the engine whine is minimal
wind deflectors Mustang seat and pillion both with backrests engine
guard, Kuryakin pegs, and Memphis 21" screen were all added.
The bike is comfortable and has reasonable vibration at 70-80MPH.
The rear view mirrors dont vibrate like some two cylinder bikes .
Top speed is about 95mph
The 1000 Cc should do much better than that .
