I purchased this bike new in Feb 2002. I commute frequently on it, and
pleasure ride occasionally on weekends. It's a great all-purpose sportbike -
powerful enough to be fun, yet comfortable enough for all-day rides. I'm a
responsible, experienced rider that takes excellent care of my equipment.
The bike has never been raced, abused or crashed. Always garaged, no
scratches, nothing to explain. It's seriously in perfect condition. The
engine runs strong, and everything works like new. A few details are
below...
11,XXX miles, mainly from my Ramona/San Diego commute.
LeoVince slip-on high exit exhaust (http://www.leovince.com). Dual titanium
canisters with stainless pipes. Passenger pegs preserved. Incredible fit and
finish, beautiful looks, great sound, strong performance. I originally paid
~$900 for this exhaust.
Engine jetted by Lee's Cycle. Stage II jets, K&N filter, airbox opened up,
smog parts removed. Dyno'd 110.5 HP at the rear wheel - I have charts.
BRAND NEW Dunlop D208 tires. Still have casting nubs.
Maintained meticulously by me - it is clean, clean, clean.
HeliBars (provides a more upright riding position).
Heated grips (I commute all year round on it).
Original exhaust is still in perfect condition -- may be purchased for addl.
$150 if interested.
NOTE: I removed the silver chin fairing out of personal preference - I still
have it and it's in great shape. Photos show the bike without this fairing.
